4.7 Seed Dispersal Mechanisms

Besides dormancy, seed dispersal mechanisms are important for the long term viability of a weed population.  Dispersal is how a weed population can spread and move.  We will briefly list a few different seed dispersal mechanisms and provide weed examples for each.   First, watch the following video showing several different seed dispersal mechanisms in action:
