11.4 Examples of Tillage Weed Control

In the second video (20 mins), Dr. Harrison discusses the terms conventional tillage, conservation tillage and no-till.  He also provides examples of different machinery implements used in each, as well as classifying them as primary, secondary or selective tillage.  Dr. Harrison also revisits the caution to not create soil erosion or compaction, but to use the tillage effectively and under correct circumstances to reap the largest benefit and minimize the disadvantages.
