A plant’s growth is dependent on the cell division process called mitosis. Both roots and shoots have meristematic tissue at their tips where rapid cell division and growth occurs. Herbicides in the Seedling Root Growth Inhibitors Mode of Action class interfere with this vital process. This final chapter will discuss the details of this class of herbicides.
