30 Social Media Usage in Chile

This pie chart depicts the social media usage in Chile in February 2022, based off of what platforms were used the most. The percentages represent how many social media users used said platform in February. I decided to use a pie chart because, to me, it seemed like the most logical way to visually and numerically represent what sites Chileans use the most when it comes to social media. It is a very clear way to show just how many users login to Facebook every month, as 3/4 of the chart is filled blue for the application. Sometimes, although the audience see numbers, they still do not understand just how big that number or percentage really is. I think that a pie chart is one of the best ways to emphasize Facebook’s impact with its immense proportion, as well as see how other platforms are used throughout the country.
