This article shares about Italy’s corruption rate among 180 countries in 2021. Italy ranked as 42/100 (0 means highest corrupt; 100 means clean), which has brought Italy to the worst corrupt county in the European region. Italian citizens believe it parliament and political parties in the country are the two institutions with the worst corrupt.

The article discussed the overall corruption in Italy and also compared it with other countries. It has given some negative impression for the citizens about their country at the beginning of the article with the title. Then, the author commends the improvement in the corruption score for Italy by showing the timeline score throughout the years for Italy. After showing the improvement evident in the article, the author has mentioned the world’s least corrupt countries such as Denmark, New Zealand, Finland, and Germany to show that Italy still needs more improvement.
