Internet Usage in Mexico

“INTERNET In Mexico, in 2020, a population of 84.1 million Internet users was estimated, representing 72.0% of the population”

“In 2021, about 48.3% of internet users were men. In the last five years, the percentage of female users has been increasing, reaching 51.7% of the total.”

The topic of my research was internet users in Mexico and then dove in more and showed the percentage of men and women that use internet. I decided to do this topic because we have been talking about internet usage for a few weeks and I felt like it was appropriate to learn more about Mexico’s use specifically. Using a pie chart with subcategories made it easier for the reader to understand that from the 72% of internet users, 32% are men and 39% are women. I had to do some extra calculations to obtain these numbers, as the original data was from the total population not just internet users.
