2 Meet the Author

My name is Georgia! I am studying Environmental Policy and Anthropology at The Ohio State University. I wrote this paper during my second year as an OSU student taking Religion and Environmental Values in America. My inspiration for this paper on the environmental implications of manifest destiny comes from my passions for history and environmentalism. American history has always been one of my favorite subjects, and as an environmental policy major, I felt that studying the environmental impacts of a major American historical movement would create a compelling textbook chapter.
