36 Meet the Author

Hello! My name is Hannah Dible and I am studying Environmental Policy and Decision Making with a minor in Nonprofit Management. I wrote this chapter during my sophomore year here at Ohio State University. I became interested in this idea through spending much of my time in high school and college outdoors. There are few places where I have been as captivated as I have when on a canoe in the middle of the Boundary Waters and this essay seeks to explain these feelings that many of you have most likely also felt before. Nature is captivating and healing and my chapter looks further into these thoughts.
