50 Meet the Author

Hello! My name is Briar. During my time at Ohio State, I majored in Zoology and had a minor in Global Public Health. I am currently pursuing a career in the field of veterinary medicine, so animals, and pets in particular, are a very big part of my life. Because of my love for animals, I thought it would be a great idea to explore the human perspective on them through a religious lens. I believe this chapter will be relatable to many pet owners, and I hope it encourages others to think more deeply about the role animals play in our lives.
