10 Meet the Author

My name is Anna Rose! I am majoring in Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife at the Ohio State University. When I am not in school, I can be found birding, painting, sketching, playing the piano, or reading a good book somewhere on campus! This chapter was written as the final term paper for my fall 2021 Religion and Environmental Values in America class. My inspiration comes from the time I spent in the Wind River Basin of Wyoming and West Virginia’s Appalachia experiencing and painting the gorgeous landscapes. It is my dream to one day become a scientific illustrator or have my own art studio.
