18 Meet the Author

Howdy! My name is Robert, a fourth-year student studying Environment, Economy, Development, and Sustainability. I have a special interest in food security issues, and even founded a club here at OSU to help serve the community. I found inspiration for my chapter about President Carter from my own personal interactions with him. I have met him several times and even attended his bible studies at his hometown church in Plains, Georgia. President Carter has been a great influence in my own personal and professional life. I knew that his faith was an important aspect of his life and I also knew about his great environmental track record, so I wanted to draw connections between the two.
