“Art is impressionistic, in that one viewer may interpret a meaning or story different from another. I captured this image in Olympic National Park, WA. It wasn’t until the search for a cover photo that I discovered the power this image manifests. Of course, you are open to form your own interpretations, but to me this photo is a visual ode about our journey navigating the multitude of perspectives emerging in the environmental realm. While the numerous towering trees guide us amongst the path and the sun peering in gives us light, we must not lose hope even though the path down the road is uncertain.” – Alana Bowser, student author
